Archive Notes: Lich's Gambit

Lich's Gambit (Sanguis Silica) is a beautiful, if macabre stone. It is said to be tinged with blood and only grows on Liches in their places of power, a rare find indeed!

A band of adventurers discovered and cleared out old Agiburn Keep and informed the Master that there had been a lich inside. He surveyed the castle,  and took note of a crystalline growth around the old necromancer’s body.  Esimar theorizes that the excess dark magic used to keep the spirit in their bones is a catalyst for the crystal's matrix.

Given the dangerous nature of these stones, they are kept in the "VAULT" as a safety precaution.
